6x6 oil on Raymar panel
I did this painting while vacationing in Big Bear with a couple of friends. I was wanting to put something green into the jar, and holly was about the only thing available. I like the combo of colors here, and the way the blue peeks through the background.
I love this, Martha. The clear contrasts of lights and darks is my favorite aspect. The combination of oranges and holly reminds me of the old days when children got fruit in their Christmas stockings. I love it!
