Gosh, I love transparent glass! I like to look for old bottles in antique stores, etc. This green one really appealed to me. The other ones are just meant to be next to it! So much fun. . .

- Hi - I'm Martha Cowan and I love painting. Actually, I have to paint. My life feels right when I've been painting, and when I haven't been, something's missing. Oils are my favorite medium, although I love soft pastels. I like watercolor and use it for quick studies. About two years ago I took a workshop with Carol Marine, which changed my life as an artist, because she taught me about daily painting and marketing. I decided to be a daily painter right then and there, although I have not been able to make that happen, due to other obligations, etc. But I post new paintings when I have them - and now I believe that if my followers aren't seeing my paintings every day, but maybe once a week or even once a month, they might actually even get more excited, waiting for the next post with more anticipation!
